Wax Recovery Finished!!

At the end of the beekeeping season we renew and replace a large number of frames from the hives. Thousands of frames go into a tank and a boiler blasts steam through them. The wax is melted out of the frames and recovered.

The wooden frames then go through a sterilisation process and are rewaxed ready for the next season.

We produce several tons of pure beeswax which is mainly sold for candle making. We hold a stock of several shapes and sizes of candles which are available for sale.
